He was a troubled soul. He made a lot of great music for many years.

He was a human being, even if it was sometimes very hard to understand what was happening to him. He had brothers, sisters, friends, family.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that a human being - not just an icon or a public figure or an artist or a weirdo or the King of Pop - just died.

I agree 100% - until he decided he'd rather be a white man. The memories of MJ that I will keep are those of the talented young kid up front with his brothers singing fabulous songs like "ABC" and "I Want You Back", plus his material and performances around the "Thriller" era.

Well said, sire. Couldn´t agree more. I was fortunate to jam and talk with Greg Phillingaines in Tokyo in -89. He said that Michael Jackson was without a doubt the most talented, most musical and most friendly chap he´d ever worked with. I don´t believe for a second the accusations regarding child molestation personally. He listened to some really bad advices first time it happend and then the whole circus started..... I read that people have tried to sue him hundreds of times through the years. Everything from former empolyees accusing him for plain stupid things to people that have never even met him trying to get some easy money. Always asking for millions of dollar in damages. Sure, he was a odd bird but he was also a unbeliavable talanted human being with a rather wicked childhood and a life that was not very ordinary. Some people forget that well known folks are also human beings with feelings too. I remember seeing a interview with the Beatles a long while ago and John and Paul talked about when they had met Elvis. They had been invited to Graceland during late 60´s. Their remaining feeling about the meeting was that they afterwards had felt very sorry for Elvis. He seemed to be a very lonesome lad and he, being a solo artist, had really none to share his success with. He didn´t know if people liked him cause he was famous and had money or if they were his friends because they liked him as a person. The Beatles had each other. Most likely the same thing with Michael Jackson. Must have been one of the most lonesome persons on the planet and he was being sued all the time. Horrible life. But such a impressive talant at the same time. Too bad that he´s gone. I think that he still had lots and lots of great music in him if he´d been able to solve his problems. That is what I think. But we´ll never know now. Too bad. A great loss. RIP Jacko.

Sincerely//J
