hello everyone. this is my first post. Here it goes...

i just acquired a MM JP6 and i was looking to install a Micro Booster Preamp ( similar to the JP13) and a Push/pull to split coils. Is this even possible?

the volume pot would be reserved for the booster preamp Becos.ro - Micro Booster Effect Onboard Preamp for Electric Guitar & Bass

the tone pot would be reserved for the push/pull DiMarzio 500K Push-Pull Pot | GuitarCenter

I wonder if somebody from the music man staff could point me in the right direction. thanks

Since this isn't something the factory does, I don't think you'll get any official advice on what to do.

That said, looks to me like it should be straightforward. They're really two different, separate modifications. You can do the coil splitting a few ways, and there's a video of an install on a JP6 on that site.

So if you're handy with a soldering iron, should be very doable. Else I'd take it to someone that knows what they're doing. Looks like there's some difficulty involved.
