My band, Victim Nation, might be on TV for a little commerical stint. Its not definate but thought I'd share with you guys so you could wish us luck....

A couple weeks ago we were asked to record a cover of Into the Valley (by The Skids) by the TV/media company that broadcasts the Rugby World Cup in North America, Ireland, Australia and Great Britain. They wanted us to get a demo to them to make sure we knew what we were doing and wouldn't flake on 'em. Once we "clear" that stage they'll give us enough money to go hit the studio and bring them a "real" take.

The best part is that they're going to use our recording for all the TV commercials that air for the Rugby World Cup.

I used the SR4 HH on the demo. there's no fancy playing cuz its a super basic song but the tone is awesome :) i also played the mini guitar solo LOL. the vocals are kinda lame and processed sounding but the end result should be good enough to get us the budget to do a real recording

We spent 3 or so hours at our friend's home studio getting the demo together this saturday... if you guys wanna check out the rough demo there's 2 MP3's up at Index of /music/VictimNation (a 192 and a 320).
