Well now. All you California boys are piling on? Holdsq? Lawdaddy?? I'm feeling a wager coming on. :D

History Schmistory. USC has long had more money and a larger pool to draw from than any other West Coast University. Especially one located in little old Eugene Oregon. Let's look at the past 5 years shall we? Might be a better comparison with the "influence" Phil Knight has on the sport.

And here's where you tell me to look at the rankings. Blah Blah we're #1. Well, you're not starting a freshman QB (are you?).

So here's what I'm thinking.......Losers (cause I know there's 3 of you) will have to wear the winners T-Shirt of choice at their next big gig.

Takers? :D

Sorry for the derail, Lawdaddy, but I'll take on that wager. Oregon wins, I'll wear a ducks shirt to my next gig following the game. My nephew has a bunch, see, he wants to go there (bright kid, right?). Vice versa if USC wins for T-bone. dealio?

LOL. Nicole gets her first experience of being on campus game day this weekend for the home opener against Hawaii.

FWIW: I went to University of the Pacific, back when they had Div. 1A football. They've since cut the program.

I will be hiding in my room this weekend, being a music student and studying/doing homework. (Let's not get into how I feel about football...)

It's also a 3-day weekend and everyone's rushing, so I'd feel a lot safer just hiding in my dorm and waiting till Hurricane Partyhardy goes away.

Dad approves these plans. :)

Nick, you have to at least venture out into the campus (used to be near the library) and see the white linen tablecloth with sterling silver alumni tailgaiting parties, which are quite a trippy sight. Everywhere else its beer and brats, but the upper crust alumni nosh very well.

Thanks so much everybody!! Today was my first day of classes. I actually have to leave to go a 7 o'clock Songwriting 1 class. I'm signed up for Aural Skills 1, Theory 1, Popular Music Performance, Popular Music Forum (where they bring in really cool people from the music biznass), Individual Instruction with none other than Alphonso Johnson, and my general ed Arts & Humanities class.

So far, so good!! Look for me around LA.

WOO congratulations Nikki!! I love those photos! You look gorgeous in your new surroundings. I'm about to start studying bass in London and I LOVE that you are obviously incredibly talented and working your tail off already. I noticed on your wall is a skyline of LDN, make sure to come visit if you have a chance!! :)
