Hi everyone,
This is my first post on the forum. You guys do a great job!!
First of all, please excuse my English. I'm Spanish (specifically from Galicia) and I'm a huge Stingray fan.

Now that I've introduced myself, I have a question about a Stingray I have the opportunity to buy.

I've always had to buy used basses because I could never afford a new one. Now, I have the chance, and I already have the Stingray I want as my bass.

Specifically, it has the serial number E97175. I checked it on the Music Man website, and it seems to be correct, although there's no information about the neck or fretboard. I've been reading about the manufacturing code, but I haven't found a solution.

Also, according to the store owner here in Spain, the bass hasn't been sold in the store for 10 years (the bass is from 2015). I've already sent an email to customer service to see if they can confirm this information.

That's all, thank you very much in advance and best regards!

This is in my opinion the best decision, also from my own experience with my "limited Ebony-Edition-Stingray" from 2008. They normally answer quite quick in my experience to "decode" the complete Build Code. Especially the unknown NEck-Code "M1" and the Color-Code "AA" (for "Vintage Tobaco Burst") also seems both quite uncommon, so its probably some kind of special Version of a 3-Band/1-Humbucker-Stingray for special (european-/spain-exclusive?) EBMM-Retailer or Musicinstrument-Store...?)
