Does EB sell the noise cancelling circuits used in the MM-90 Axis' seperately? If not, does anyone know what kind of pot that is in the cavity and how it is wired together?
Since EB doesn't sell other parts, I'm pretty sure you're out of luck getting a silent circuit.
If you have a specific project and need a P90-ish sound, a good option is the 490 offered by Bill Lawrence. Has that sound and is completely noise-free. (Disclaimer: I'm a big BL pickup fan and generally re-wire my guitars to suit.)
I took a picture of the silent circuit, so you could see what it looked liked. I am going to see if I can find out a value and will let you know. I have no idea what the circuit or the pickups are worth.
Chad, sorry for the delayed response. I got called out on the road and have not had a chance to even check on this stuff. I was watching a Axis humbucker pickup on ebay and saw that someone did a buy it now for $85.00. I have to head out again on Weds. but will try to come up with something by early next week.
Sorry it has been so long on this, but I have been out of pocket for a while. If anyone is still interested, I have these two single coil pickups out of a 1996 Axis Sport and the silent Circuit. I also have the original black pick guard and a custom clear pick guard that I have no use for as well.
