I love - 'L' 'O' 'V' 'E' - my Rosewood Axis. It seriously is my favorite neck (bass or guitar) without questions. Could a rosewood necked MM bass be made or is the tension on bass necks too great? Just curious. I'm not asking if one will be ever made, just if it could be made and be functional.

I don't (but yes I really do) want to even see the new crazy shizzle you brought to the desert BP....... one piece bodies....... flamey, rosy necks............

my previous fancy lumber post got sucked into a cyberspace black hole but nothing important was noted ... it' wasa just more brain damaged blather from woe is me in rehab...

the main point is I love everything that BP and the SLOhands design and build and I'd be happy to play my stock SR5 H/Piezos again

have a great time everyone ...

BP - please, please, please make a Rosewood neck available on a bass, preferably a five stringer. Prehaps a BFR? I know rosewood is not totally exodic, but....

I will be first in line!

Holy crap! I just saw the picture of the Rosewood SR in the "Report for the Desert" tread! Very nice. Very, very nice.

Ooh, if there's a Bongo with rosewood neck coming next year I'm all over it.

Speaking of exotic woods, the BFRs Dargin just posted in the sticky thread are stunning. The flamed/quilted maple Sterling is unbelievably gorgeous.
