I know, I know. Contact the distributor. But I'm not looking for a dealer, or the closest dealer in my area. I'm looking for Pete DuBaldo's german cousin...someone who actually knows what they are talking about if I have a question before ordering a guitar. Someone who, when asked for a price on an AL doesn't respond with *amount* but tells me (or, at least knows) what options exist and what they'd cost.
Someone who doesn't need a week to find the distributor because he's never heard the letters "BFR".
Anyone got any recommendations?

Im looking for this person in every country. Colin is great in Australia and we have some tovely guys in Canada but it is sad that most international dealers wont stop to see that focusng on something other than a strat or LP can bring you a lot wider customer base.

what about Mick?

Very good point, Pops !
Mick knows the guys at the German distributor well enough and is himself way deep into the whole EB/MM product portfolio.
...and he's on the forum, too :D

Mick's Guitar Center / Landshut / Bavaria / Germany.
My 1st choice anyway

Wake up Nick You can sell a lot of guitars and if you do really well you can have a beer van like Pete Dubaldo does!

Chateau Lafite or Opus One Van , please.

Had Kobe for my birthday this year;)

Wow, from a country where my "favorite" car comes from (no, it's not BMW, the initials are MB), you'd think they would want the MB of guitars prevalent there!!!:)
