MM EVH without signature

Hi all!

I'm sure there are a lot of experts here, so I would like to ask you guys to give me some info on this Music Man EVH that is on sale on Ebay right now. Does not have the signature but has "5150" on the body. Is it a fake? I won't be buying, I'm just curious.

Fake man, totally fake. There was a post not too long ago about that very item. You should be able to find it with a quick search.

There were some EVH guitars made without the signature, when EVH left EBMM before the Axis replaced it. This one is not one of them!

It looks like an AXIS that was made in Japan...The Japanese one looks identical to the EVH...with the pickup switch on the bottom horn, etc.
