Bought a Line 6 pocket pod a few months back just to use for fun as i like to widdle while Mrs H is watching her soaps but she moans when i am locked away in my rehersal room for hours on end..so thought i could sit with her and she could just moan about an unamplified guitar to a guy with earphones on who cant hear her!

Anyway, the Pocket Pod is awesome! I have discovered about 4 key tones that work perfectly with my Axis and then a couple more that really suit the JP6, but these tones are miles better than anything i can get from my normal rig.

Anyone have any experience with the PodXT? Is it worth selling some kit and replacing it with a more powerful POD?

(PS. the Pocket Pod has really made me start to appreciate how great the Axis is. I was hooked on the JP when i got it and the Axis never got a look in but now i cant put it down...that neck is just so perfect and those pups just sound amazing...i love it and i feel bad for banishing it to its case when the JP came along :()

You know, it's funny 99% of my playing is done by plugging my Axis into my PODXT.
And yes, it's brilliant for home practice.
But if truth be told I don't really use the added functionality that the XT has (most of the time it gets left on the 'Jump'ed' preset). Bit like using a sledgehammer to crack a walnut really !
I hear great things about the Vox Tonelabs as well.

I have a POD X3 that is really awesome. I play a lot at home with it, and it's extremely useful for night time practicing.

I have the podxt and the FBV floorboard which basically turns it into a Pod live.

Great piece of kit.

Yeah I know it's a simulator but Line 6 have a great product here.

With the introduction of the Line 6 X3 , you will be able to pick up an XT for a bargain price - oh yeah - get one and you will not be disappointed with what it delivers.

The key to getting all those great sounds from a real rig is to buy one of everything seen here. :D Those Line6 guys have a pretty nice collection.
