MM pickup covers

Apologies if this has been discussed and resolved before but I&#039;d like to try a black pick-guard on my all white SR5 (see avitar) and I&#039;d also like my pickup cover to match.<br /> <br /> What are my options here for a relatively inexpensive and easily reversible colour change (i.e. I don&#039;t want to buy a new pickup)?<br /> <br /> Any advice appreciated.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">That pickup on the SR5 is basically a &quot;unit&quot; and the cover won&#039;t come off, at least not without some work - and some danger to your pickup.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Maybe you&#039;ll get lucky like I did and someone will offer to trade a black pickup for your white one. That&#039;s what happened when I posted something like this here. Psychicpet Pete chimed in and we worked out a trade.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Dont suppose you have access to a vacume forming machine? We have one at school and if you were to stick you pickup in that it would make a perfect fit cover. I dont THINK it would get hot enough to damage the pickup either.<br /> <br /> Chris</div>
