MM Sightings

Forgot to post that I saw a photo a month or so back of U2 in the recording studios in Dublin and Adam Clayton appeared to be using a Musicman bass!

Not sure if he is known already to be a MM user? - Anyone know?

Also, I was flicking through my TV channels early yesterday evening and there appeared to be a "Songs of Praise" special going on in the Royal Albert Hall. There was a Gospel Choir singing "Oh Happy Day" and not only was the bass player using a MM, but it was left-handed - Go Brother!

i saw the same picture. I was a massive fan of U2 until they became blatently comercial in 2001 with all that you cant leave behind. maybe the new album might change that. It alway annoys me when I see jouranlists slagging off pop, anyway! Clayton i always thought represents an awesome bass player, i learn't playing along to U2 but ended up buying a sub in preference to a Precison. Precisions are great for rock but don't have the tight bottom end, compression or charactor like a musicman.

bahhh! I missed the whole fiasco! I watched the opening monologue (sp?)[Jack..help?] and was going to watch it but seeings that we were in a hotel room and it was the first week-end in 3yrs. that the missus and I have been without the kids... well, I don't want to paint any nasty pictures but
