OK - a preliminary 'thanks' for any help/advice:
I recently picked up a MM SUB5 bass that has the original "metallic truck bumper" diamond pickguard. I'd like to replace it.
I have been all around the internet, etc etc, and there appears to be one company that had the SUB5 pattern on hand - My question is: Is the Sterling 5 pickguard interchangable with the SUB5 pickguard? (I know the SR5 picguard is quite different, and the SR4 pickguard's H opening would be too small for the SUB5 p/u). - anyone out there know? or know if there are any other basses where the pickguard would match up with the SUB5?
