Yeah Foggy, changing black plastic knobs to for example metal chrome knobs will really brighten up the sound of the guitar when exposed to light

...but the moonstone pickguard on my pearl purple Silo Spec adds even more dimension to the tone than NorM's abalone knobs
In fact, all the pearl finishes on Silo bodies make these guitars produce even pearlier tones, while the metallic finishes add an extra amount of edge and "cut-thru" capabilities...

That makes a lot of sense actually. It is said that moonstone carries certain mytical properties.

I just read that AND NOW I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHY I just cannot keep my hands off the pearl purple and "moonstoned" Silo Spec !!!
I feel better and better the more I use and abuse her
