Okay. A couple/few weeks ago I posted how I had put back the original Mm90s in my Albert. Well, the title says it all. They just sound so excellent with everything. I know - you're thinking "He's just in the honeymoon phase". Maybe, but I don't think so. These pickups are spectacular.
Only negative is that I screwed up the wiring to my silent circuit somehow while installing a new jack and now the SC isn't working (yeah - I checked the battery). Pretty sure my caveman-esque soldering skills are to blame. Anyone know a good tech in the Twin Cities area who won't charge way too much to rewire my precious? Yes. My precious.
But I digress. I've been thinking - how would those MM90s sound in an HH AL (because I have one here) with the different wood combinations??? Yeah the Axis pickups sound good in there, but what if I could have that African mohagony body and all RW neck w/MM90s? How cool could that be!?!?! Then I remembered the GC run.........damn. Time to start saving.
