Doods, I just had to let all y'all know that my Avalon U5 finally came in and boys... it's nice to hear an SR5 direct through one of them thar boxes, now just awaitng the Crown power amp and then off to audition cabs.
BTW , it looks like the Bongo will be here in May!!!!! Just in time for Atlantic Canadian dates.

well, the Crown came in and I did the first break-in gig last night, nice sound. It's the kind of difference that isn't huge from a regular mid-powered head but when you slap or pluck anything on the B and E strings the tone is just so much bigger and more clean/clear due to the headroom in the power amp.
