mod my ASS

Since I have my ASS Piezo hardtail was not using my ASS PBB but did not to part with it. So i decided to try a very simple change : replace the PUP

Phat Cat pup with 3 way selector basically kinda MM90 pup

Extremly cool sound with an amazing attack, different from the MM90 no hum even without silent circuit. Love the bridge PUP there is a bit of a strat quack in it

Love the look of the guitar even more now (very silo 20th with the chrome pup cover)

Were the Phat Cats a drop-in replacement or did you have to modify the pickup cavities or pickup base mounting legs?

Actually they ar not Seymour Duncan Pickup legs are different from the Di Marzio one.

Had to do some mod to the pickup but did not touch the guitar. Actually I had it done by a Luthier here in Paris cause I really did not want to spend to much time doing it myself

As for Sound sample I will be very please to post some when I will have setup back the sound card on the laptop and I need to bring back the amp the reaharsal place. But it's definitly something I'd like to share with you cause the combination of thaose pup and Axis SS is simply amazing
