Derek Well-known member Joined Feb 18, 2003 Messages 1,181 May 30, 2003 #2 The Stingray 5 pickup cover is glued on to the pickup. The 4 string you can take on and off. If you want to change out on the 5 you have to change the whole pickup. Derek

E Eric Moesle Member Joined Dec 2, 2002 Messages 18 Location Columbus, OH Jun 3, 2003 #4 I once inquired with Ernie Ball Co. about this, and the response was that with the SR5, I'd have to replace the entire pickup, and would have to send the original one back to them in order to purchase a new one in the different color. Bummer.
