Monarchy upgrade

For those of you who don't follow social networks, this is part of John Petrucci's Guitar Universe, his first guitar camp. That's why it's a Premium Upgrade, because you can choose to purchase one of those guitars together with the rest of the package and have it delivered there. I guess these guitars will also be available to the general public and they will be introduced and showcased at NAMM, I don't think they'll be limited pieces as the text in the photo above suggests... Or at least I hope they are not limited!
 
I don't like JP'S and Majesties too much but I thought you guys would like it and might go crazy. Nice upgrade IMHO.

Purple or blue for me. Can't decide. You and I can certainly agree on one thing.....the wife isn't going to be happy :)

The guitar has been removed from the Guitar Universe site, and I have gotten confirmation that it will not make a return to that either.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Still, the promo videos for those guitars were shot a month or two ago IIRC. It could be a move from Music Man to keep the "secret" until NAMM, but I mean... Why remove the ad from the Guitar Universe page? Many of us have already seen it and it's already been posted in this thread. Also, it wouldn't be the first time EBMM announce a model before NAMM so why the hassle?
Still, great offerings nonetheless, I really love the Purple one, even more so with the all black hardware. The only drawback for me is it's got a glossy finish. I sweat my hands a lot and I've been spoiled by my Polar Noir's matte finish, it's SO easy to clean up, it's a breeze... Glossy finishes OTOH are a pain in that regard.
 
It's cool to see some more colors, but man the artisan series already rocks.
 
I think a 7 in purple has to appear in my stable. Any reason for the pickup change on these ? Obviously it's fun to have new stuff but curious about the change.
