Hey guys, I'm just wondering what an Axis SS would cost me at a GC. (With humbuckers, no piezo, no tremolo, maple board, plainted headstock) The Canuck dollar is doing pretty good against the Yanks right now and I'm wondering if it might be worth me making the trek south (I'm not that far) for an ASS instead of ordering it here.

Go to GC website, find store of your choice, look up phone number, call, ask questions, be happy.

Just so you know, they have a Tobacco Burst ASS with BFR Rosewood neck at the GC in Cincinnati.

It would be a haul from Hamilton, ON, to Cincinnati, OH, but that's a BFR rosewood neck...

How do you find stock in a particular GC store? every time I visit the home site it seems to be the same guitars! My local GC doesn't stock EBMM guitars so it's hard to find them in my neck of the woods so to speak!.......

Here's the issue. It's a warranty issue. I believe that you basically can't get warranty service through any of your Canadian dealers if you buy your guitar in the U.S. It's an Ernie Ball policy to protect the dealers in your country. So, even if you were to get it for less money, you'd be essentially voiding your warranty.

No clue. I was at the Cincinnati GC on Saturday...that's the only way I knew about that guitar.

There's an ASS TB/rosewood neck bfr at the Natick, MA GC also for a great (not saying here) price. I have never been able to figure out how to check inventory with GC.....but then again, I always get a time out trying to go to their sub-pages (used...sign up for coupons...download King of Blues backing tracks).....

Warranty

Hey Doodle...

Call EBMM about the warranty question... I bought my guitar in the US and a few months later I moved to Europe. While in Europe, EBMM still honored a warranty claim since it was still within the first year.
