I e-mailed Allison Suter with some pictures of my 20th Anniversay Silo and the BFR Maple Burst Luke to see what straps she thought would compliment the guitars. Here is her reply...

HI Don,
I would have to suggest our black/tobacco for the darker beauty and our redwood/cream (if you want all leather) or the redwood/curry of you prefer suede (curry doesn’t come in leather backed).

We are hoping to get stock in by the end of this week….yes, I we completely out of stock! So, you would get these in about 10-15 days (at the latest). You can always write an email to my shipping manager to ask on specific colors in stock….I THINK she may have some suede backed….hmmm not sure.

Let me know what you decide ~ beautiful guitars…..

She also sent me a reply to a similar question. I was surprised when she herself answered my e-mail.

I was trying to match my Blue Dawn Bongo and on-order Ruby Burst BFR JP6. The conclusion we came to was pretty much black/black.

Yeah, the good thing about black straps, there is nothing they don't match!! I like black too, because it doesn't "take away" from the guitar. Kinda like a frame around a picture. I guess that's why all my straps are black, my balls are all worth framing!!:)

ALL my gals have Moody Straps...they ARE the best. She used to do custom embroidery but has stopped to focus on selling more straps.

Shouldnt every EBMM come with a Moody strap?

I got the chance to meet Allison at the Premier Guitar Festival in MA last month and see/try the straps first hand. Came home with a 4" wide black for my JP6. Amazing straps and Allison is definetely good people.
