Texas Finally!
OK another update from the CFB, I have been on the look out for a good condition hard tail Axis for quite some time these rarely come up, and the few that have have been priced out of my range. Well this one popped up on the bay a few weks ago but i did not track it and it was not there the next time I looked, well it was relisted last Saturday, so I contacted the seller made a deal and here it is, was described as near mint and mut say the description was dead on, this guitar is almost 13 years old, still has the plastic on the control cavity, and except for very minor scratches on the back is mint, sounds great, came with an SKB case which is not original but I prefer them.
So one more I did not need but added:)
pics of a 1997 trans gold Axis Hardtail, will be putting new locking tuners on it:)

And here is a pic of the fingbeagle enjoying our freak snowstorm yesterday, 12+inches, more than we get in 5 years usually:eek:

CFB strikes again! Great looking Axis.

That snow is crazy for Dallas! I better call my grandparents and see how they're doing, they're in Granbury.

Wow Fing! Awesome collection you got going. Foggy has the picture collection and you're catching up with the real thing! LOL Great addition. Have you had a chance to AB it with the Floyd version? Any noticeable differences?

Very cool! It does seem weird that there are no holes for the string clamps......but I guess if there are no string clamps.....

That beagle seems to love it! Maybe you should move to New England. Oh....wait....we got nothing from the predicted snowstorm that shut down the state.

By the way.....F'ing....do you take requests of what you're going to buy next? :D

Hey, u talkin to me? NY
will be putting new locking tuners on it:)

She's just amazing Keith, a super rare bird indeed! Congrats on the awesome find and buy! I think you've got the Axis fever:cool:

One question though, why would you want to put locking Schaller tuners on her - have to drill new holes for the locking tuners and then have the old holes left behind from the original non-locking Schallers?
