Glad to help. My dad had cancer, lost my mom to cancer, lost an aunt and last year my young cousin was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Hopefully a cure will be found during my lifetime.

How old was your cousin? I was amazed that most doctors tell women to get mammograms at 40. The problem with that is many women are being diagnosed with breast cancer as young as 20. With my wifes diagnosis and meeting other patience/survivors, I am willing to bet there were probably 30 to 40% of women diagnosed in their 20's. Some their early 20's and we even met one girl who was diagnosed right after her 19th birthday. So one of the things we would like to see is women having mammograms at age 20 or having ultrasounds done at that age which can also detect solid masses in the breasts.

She's 33 and was diagnosed at 32. She had a biopsy done and was told not to worry as she was young and had no family history. It was quite a shock.
She's doing better now and does a lot of fundraising / volunteering for Susan G Komen. She is very inspiring.

I should probably update everyone on the skinny strings side. The total collected is now $3,100.00. And again, thank you all for your help.

Done!

Well, I can't be evil ALL of the time... jeez...

I would have sooner but haven't been on the forum this past month due to work + school + kids. I'm such a freaking slacker... ;)

Thank you Keith, you are too kind, Sir.

I’ve been overwhelmed by a couple acts of knucklehead kindness today. Amazing!!!

As Keith says... it is the time of year for giving so I too am happy to send a further top up of $50. Hopefully that will stop those three ghosts coming to visit me on Xmas eve this year LOL Bah humbug !!
Paypal just done so it's on it's way.
Think that is only another $200 to go & we hit the target.... way to go everyone..fantastic effort.

Cheers
Baz
