Erin - your Big Al looks rather close to the Tony Levin 'Sledge' colour to me - was your aqua purple a GC special a couple of years back? Very nice flip in that anyway.

When the Sledge line was announced I asked if they were the same color, and was assured by A.J. That they are not the same finish. And yes it was a Guitar Center limited order, if it was a SSS it would be the perfect bass. Now it has to settle for #2

Those 20th Anniversary Rays are fabulous. I went to a jam session recently and the resident bass player/bass was (very surprisingly) one of these. I have serious GAS for one now!!
