Damn my family members for getting married this past weekend!!!!!!!!

Damn myself for getting married a year ago this past weekend. Couldn't convince my wife to spend our first anniversary watching me get wasted in SLO. :D

Actually, to be honest, I didn't even try to convince her. I've only been married a year, but I'm learning.

I've been married a long time and I'll share this rule for you.

She is right.

You are wrong.

Simple, but...
I've been married a long time too. I'd add:

You're guilty.

Even if you have absolutely no idea what you might have done, accept the fact that you're guilty anyway. Y'know how Catholics have this idea of original sin, that the moment you draw breath you're a sinner even if you haven't had a chance to do anything wrong yet? It's like that. The moment she slipped that ring on your finger, everything became your fault.

I've defused many an argument simply by issuing a 'mea culpa.' Half the time I haven't a clue WHAT was my fault, but that doesn't matter. Never let something as silly as the truth as you see it get in the way of killing an argument before it starts.

That one concept more than any other has kept me reasonably happily married for 19 years.

I can definitely concur with both of these sentiments.

"You're absolutely right. I'm an idiot." Is always on heavy rotation at this radio station.

Like 10,000 angels singing "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot".

The best sounding bass I've ever heard even though is was through headphones. I'm anxious to be able to play one through my rig.

A HH SR5 is definitely my next bass.
