I don't know if it really is getting worse out there, or if it just seems so because we have so much more access to instant information, but it seems like there are so many sad reports here lately.

I'm glad to hear things are looking up for your brother. That is fantastic news and prayers continue for him.

Koogs, my thoughts go out to you and Keith's family. Very sorry to read the bad news. These senseless acts are terrible. Wishing you could have been there to help your friend is way too much of a burden to put on yourself. You could have been hurt or killed yourself. Think of the good times, the fun times. You'll come through this on the other side.
