Hey Tommy,

Thanks... Things were just starting to quiet down around here and now you've gotta stir the pot.

Hey, if you haven't been out there, Alwin from Steve's webpage posted a bunch of the pictures I took at the clinic.

Talk to you later.

Nice job!
Was that the same model camera that is used for pictures of UFOs and Bigfoot?
The wait on the guitar is gonna be worth it

shelf nut?.... ..does that mean "stock"?

I'm wondering the same thing..is it a difficult retrofit to an Axis neck, Jon?

ok .......i'll take a stab at it.....

a nut that helps temper the tuning so it sounds more in tune to human ears......as opposed to perfection strickly on a tuner w/ reguard to intonation ...and the strings at proper pitch.

here's another type.....http://mimf.com/nutcomp/
an extention instead of a shelf.....

The comensated nut improves intonation. We have a patent on our compensated nuts, so we do not sell them seperalty.

Not trying to stir the pot or complain but I would like to ask a couple of more questions on this matter.

Since the nuts will not be sold seperately, would it be possible to have the nuts installed on existing guitars if they are sent back to the factory for whatever reason?

Is there a compensated nut design for Floyd Rose equipped Music Man guitars?

What are the order and production cutoff dates for the compensated nuts on guitars? (Will Wargmaster's guitar, ordered earlier this week, have one?)

We will at some time be able to retro fit instruments with the new nuts, but I have no idea when. We will not have the new nuts on ANYTHING but the L3 Limited Edition until June, the last I heard. No we will not have a Floyd with the compensated nut.

While I think the addition of the compensated nut will only improve EBMM guitars, I also have to say that my 2004 Silo Special sounds more "in tune" than either of my Fenders. While I don't currently have a guitar with the Buzz Feiten system, I have had one in the past and the Silo Special as it is now is pretty darn close to what I remember the Feiten guitar sounding like.
