I lucked into getting one of the Tahitian Blue BFR Morse guitars used. Its a fantastic guitar to play, but the output is about half of the output of my Y2d and Standard Morse. Is that supposed to be like that? Or did I get hosed and the guy that sold it to me was a master with a soldering gun? The wiring looks totally stock.

I have one, as well, and the output is similar to my Les Paul Standard -- so not quite as high as my Axis models, but definitely not weak. I'd say it's what Bareknuckles calls vintage hot.

This Morse HH is truly my favorite Les Paul. :)

So yours sounds like a Les Paul? That’s what I was hoping for and mine really doesn’t. It’s honestly on the thin side.

Very much so. I joke when I say it's the best Les Paul I've played...but I'm not sure that I'm really joking.

Maybe EBMM customer service can help you out with replacing it?
