From my understanding, standard(not Y2D) Morse comes in either Blueburst or Black. However while looking into this guitar, I notice most owned the blue burst.
Has anyone seen black? How do they look in person? Is Blueburst much more popular of a choice in this guitar?

Oh NO my friend.
Check out this chart. The Morse comes in a lot of colours. It's just that Morse Blue and Black are probably the most popular!

Hold tight and I'll post some pics.
I've only seen Steve play the Morse Blue, Black, and Vintage Sunburst. But that doesn't mean there hasn't bee others.

FOgman,
It seems like you're getting a Morse. Can I ask why you chose the standard model over the Y2D??? hmm...maybe you already have Y2D...

LOL!!!!
I don't have an EBMM just yet. I'm the joke of the town.
Ironically when I was first deciding to get an EBMM I was gunho on getting a black Morse hardtail with black guard. Then I tried that exact guitar and found the neck too narrow to what my fingers are accustomed to playing.
I do still want that guitar but not until after some other EBMM purchases.
I do also love the Y2D. I would go with the De-Purple Burst.
I do want to try the Morse guitars again. Maybe if I got to spend more time with them, I could adjust to the neck!?
They are beautiful guitars.:)

my bandmate received his Blue Burst Morse not so long time ago. I can tell you this axe is awesome!! pickups sound very clear and rich, especially single coils, and the body is very comfortable for me, even without the cut outs

I'm still waiting for my axe though :(
