Hey Jack,
So does this mean I can't talk about Sterling by Music Man?

Just kidding, you know I love you.
PP

I'm still looking to get you involved in a smart-ass rockabilly band, Pat. The money is AMAZING.

Word, lads and laddies. I know, given the participation in "open forums" here and there, that it seems like mind control - a bit. But please, keep in mind that this the official EBMM forum. No one is trying to repress you! No one is trying to subjugate your absolute right to free speech!

I'm doing the best I can to keep things pointed in the right direction.

Now, about the single H Big Al Fiver.............

My sig says it all...I have owned just about everything out there but realized after many years that I was trying to replace the 79' Ray I lost in a fire...I now only own and play EBMM basses!!! I have no desire to change that anytime soon!! Just got in from a gig and my Black SR5 KILLED!!!! Got a Festival gig tomorrow with a crowd of over 5,000!!! Taking the Black SR5 again and can't wait! I have to be up in about 3 hours to leave...LOL! I have been fully assimilated...

Peace,

T

I have only one bass at this moment (look at avatar, signature)!

I tried and played lots of basses, but one thing is for sure, for now on I'll stick with EBMM.
I feel that I reached my final need for the bass!

My Sterling will stay with me forever, I prepare to buy one more EBMM single H 5 and/or one single H 5 with piezo!
It would be perfect if I can complete this needs just in one bass, but piezo have limited offer in 5 bangers (just SR and Bongo).

Hey Boogie.....I read your deleted post....We arent trying mind control. WE all own other stuff. WE also have history and experience to know that there are many topics and situations that easily whack the living daylights out of the vibe here. Other brands, evh, pricing in europe, wanting diagnosis on a vague problem from strangers, replacement pick ups, modifications.

Think of rules here like fences...they kind of keep the boundary semi safe....If all the public that has access to post were responsible and could allow the others opinion I would not need rules at all

It is kind of a reverse compliment THis is specifically for our stuff...thats why I pay for it. People get so comfy here that they forget it is a corporate with an intended focus... I guess it is like not talking about current or past lovers to your significant other.... just better form and smoother seas! WE get people that get upset when we delete their gallery that scrolls across the top with the other brands....

Its just a few rules.....we started with none.

I know. That is why I quickly deleted my post. It just hit me the wrong way at first, and then I cooled off. As you could see by my post I am a proud Music Man owner. I love the stuff and I talk about it a lot. I'm wearing my newest Music Man shirt as I type. My hairstyle is like yours and I live in Dallas so I frequently wear a ballcap. I have to be careful not to wear my Music Man hat with my Music Man shirt for fear of looking like the ultimate walking billboard. Did I mention my Music Man StingRay wallpaper on my Mac?

For those of you who didn't see my post, let's just say I was not in agreement. I don't believe I was rude in any way, but I quickly decided my reponse was not appropriate.

Big Poppa, thanks for your comments. They were appreciated.

I have a rather monogamous relationship with EBMM basses. I have only owned EBMM basses (my first bass was a Dargie SR5), only ever bought EBMM basses, and only play on EBMM basses (all together I probably have less than an hour or two play time on other brands). Why!? is because I don't like the outside world!? is it because I'm too sheltered!? is it because I'm a lil fanboy!? NO. It's because these basses feel right to me, I feel my best when I am on one. Ever since that fateful day in the music store when I picked up just about every bass in the bass room and got around to EBMM and thought "this feels right" (before I really even knew anything about basses). The rest is history.

I think I made a good choice.
