Most versatile EBMM Guitar?

edit: Ok I forgot about the Morse. The only thing about the Morse though is that there's no vintage trem, just fixed or floyd

My Blue Dawn SiLO piezo trem with EMG's has something like 27 different selections.
I think Beej's Splitcoil piezo morse tops it though.
For stock EBMMs I vote for Piezo trem SiLOs

That's funny, I PMed with BeeJ about the ASS w/piezo vs a Morse back in February. Geat advice and knowledge from that guy.

My favorite EBMM's are the:

1. AL
2. Sil - both models
3. Axis SS w/piezo
4. Luke - one of my biggest influences

What a hard decision...

I think a silo special HSS with trem and piezo could be the ultimate axe, or maybe a close 2nd would be an ASS HH Piezo trem. Of course the Luke is in there too.

If only an AL with HSS existed, officially of course.

My vote goes for the HSH Silo w/trem. It has all the bases covered. It's also going to be my next axe after I get my new JP.

Steve Morse played on so many records with his trusty n°1 (from the Dixie Dregs to Deep Purple + Kansas, SMB and so many collaborations).

Besides the Morse guitar has 4 pickups, the others just have 3 (or 2). The great Nigel Tufnel can tell you : 4 is one more than 3...

the only missing thing ´bout the morse is the piezo-option.
you can chose with/without trem but no piezo.

Although I would chose the Morse again. Very versatile.
H-S-S would be nothing for me, I need a HB in the Neck-position + 1 oder better 2 SC´s. (I wish the neck-SC would be more towards the neck)

I hear that! I've seen a few other folks put them in as well, I'd love to see Steve do it one day. The saddles change the tone somewhat, so I'm guessing that's a part of why he doesn't do it.

That would be really cool- I've often wished for the same thing. Get rid of the middle p'up and stick a strat-ish neck p'up right next to the neck bucker. Would be very interesting.
