The silver burst BFR isn't mine.

GC was offering the guitars as "must sell & pick up today" (meaning no deposits with final payment next week kind of deal) and that made the one-offs unobtainable for at least one of the interested parties... until I stepped in and snagged it for them.

As of 11:00am today RichB is the proud owner of that fine axe :D

Well, I guess my congrats now goes to Rich;) What ya did was very cool. So how do ya like the color. Could ya see yourself with with silverburst if it was offered?

I could see it offered on the regular Pet model, why cover up all those nice maple BFR tops with a solid color?

You know,I don't even know what to say.Honestly,Pete you treated me like a Brother,a REAL Friend!
You were there standing next to me when G.C. said all sales final(basically now or nothin').
I had enough for a down payment in my pockets.Ernie gave me the Respect of asking me which guitar I wanted before the fact but it just didn't work out for me that night.
You don't find guys like you Pete and I swear.I can't EVER see myself buying another Petrucci BFR from anyone but you bro and you know I want that Tobacco Burst 7 string Petrucci BFR!!!Dubaldos Music 4life!!!
Pete Thank you you Rock!!!

On the subject of solid color BFRs, how about an all Mystic Dream BFR? How awesome would that be!

It would be nice to see it become a regular color. And you'd have to be crazy to cover up a nice quilt of flame top with a solid color. I guarantee there is no flame of quilt under Rich's silverburst. And BP has said a BFR can be anything they want it to be, so I would imagine there will be some solid color BFR's in the future. Maybe with slight variations to some models designs.
