Dude, go see Paul and Brent in Port Credit and grab a Larrivee. They should have some nice ones in stock. Good bang for the buck, too:D

Every time I go to see Paul, I always take a quick look in the acoustic room.:D Just can't do it right now. Pauls got a Dargie Petrucci on order for me. Maybe later in the summer.:)

I love my Takamine '99 Limited Edition. I love it even more because I paid £300 for it!

I have a Taylor 810ce myself, but I may sell it. Even with 13's, it just doesn't have the low end I like for heavy abusive strumming. For fingerpicking, it is the bomb, but it's not my thing so much. Martin may be a better solution.

BP, a thinline would be heavenly.

My 414CE-L4 wasn't great for the strumming thing either. I've played some other Taylors that I liked better for that purpose. I don't know. I guess when I tried out that Taylor I was just in a fingerpicking mood. Everything was fantastic. I fell in love with it. Then, I brought it home, and it wasn't quite as nice with a plectrum. Still, it was pretty heavenly with my fingers. Next time, I'll be sure not to discount the idea that I'll have to check out how an acoustic sounds with a pick. I was seduced by its siren song, I guess, and I forgot about using a pick while testing it out in the store.
