yeah, I just run clean and get dirty via a Tube Screamer.
However, a guy I jam with will run straight into by 2x12 which then runs out to the 1x12...so both are running. He can hit the footswitch and get tremolo from the 2x12 and can hit the dirty footswitch on the 1x12 for dirty (still mixed with the clean 2x12). He can make it sound glorious....a nice Allman Brothers tone.
