I already called dibs on the new toy he's getting from you Steve. I figure it won't last longer than the rest.

I was kinda hoping to get the Canadian for the balance due on the new toy.

Hey guys, that was a lot of fun last night.

And yes, that Cajun Bill can surely play some kind of bass.

I'm off in a few to play my gig tonight then I'm heading to Mexico very early tomorrow morning. I'll try to check in since my wife is taking our laptop with her.

Don't have too much fun while I'm gone. :p

Nope, finances are in order for now. Thats why I had to sell the Red Bongo. Though I could see the possibility of it changing hands when the Sterling 5 and or 20th SR5 come to fruition.

I had a good time at Camp Bovine! It was a strange sensation to actually be in the Great Purple Room.... Jack's a great host & it was nice to finally meet him, Larry, Paul, & Tim. I even met the lovely Erika & young Jeremy.

I have quite a few photos, too.

Jack & his newest family member:

Larry loves his Bongo!

Paul playing his fretless...when he said that bass plays itself, he wasn't really kidding!

Uh oh, you might even have photos of the Dip Experiment. There goes my rep as a hard-drinking, meat eatin' sumbitch.

"The Great Purple Room" - hah. Kind of like the inside of the bottle on "I Dream of Jeannie", isn't it? Except we have drums.

It's always good to meet up with Imaginary Friends. Erika was shocked we weren't up and making noise at 4 in the morning (it happens occasionally).

And what good basses you guys have. I was seriously impressed by Tim's 30th. And yeah, Paul's fretless.....I've been through a slew of fretless basses and that one always tempts me to get another. (I do know better - not a fretless player.)

I tell you, those basses were so much fun that we didn't even get the Flaming Biff out. Someone should have reminded me!

Amazing what you can do with some cream cheese, black olives and half a Romano tomato, isn't it?

Both the Flaming Biff and Heinz were about twelve feet from us - you should have grabbed me by the ear and reminded me.

We're ready for you, love. You might have to sleep on the futon in the game room, but I've done it myself and it's fairly agreeable, really.
