Psychicpet said:Just did a bunch of little "puddle jumper" flights last week and the BassSafe is the King!It is as light if not lighter than a normal hardshell and the wheels are nice and smooooooth in the terminal walking it around. My SR5 has not sustained any injuries either. For those who do some flying to warrant something but not enough to go and get a huge custom cut hard shell flight case then I highly recommend the Bass Safe. us gig bag brethren have to stick together chris

I stick with a HS case most of the time. But I really like this case becuase I can have the best of both worlds. I get the HS protection on the way to the gig - but once I get there I have the portability of a gigbag. I like to stick my gigbag behind my amp - this way when I packing up I can throw my bass right into a gigbag and walk off the stage with it, etc.
I definately encourage everyone to at least check this case out.
