Well, if the guy wants to play lead bass, why not?

Personally I think that bass is all about driving the groove, being funky and doing more with less, but so what? That's just the traditional view. If it floats your boat, it's cool.

Y'know, one time I went to see a Stanley Clarke solo show. He was playing his "piccolo" Alembic bass. Now, this guy is one of the greatest bassists of all time… but I when the show was over I couldn't help but ask myself "Did I just spend 90 minutes watching an endless guitar solo?"

So while this ain't my cup o' tea, I'm sure it has its place.

I mean this as a HUGE compliment to BP/EBMM in general, so please take it that way:

That is a killer P bass tone in a killer Musicman bass.

You know what...that P/EBMM crossover tone is closer to a P bass than some P basses are, haha, then you still have passive/active/4band EQ and pickup options on TOP of that, and the normal tone control, (which is stunning).

I have a 5 SSS, but I want a 4 SSS as well now.

Yes i'm using three finger..:)
I have an old p bass, after compare it with big al from the feature and sounds this EBMM is much better..

On this video i turned the bass eq down..a killer p bass sounds will easily you get after tweaking a little on the preamp or Eq..

LOL at the people saying he's playing the wrong instrument. Who is ANYBODY to tell him how to play anything? It doesn't matter if you don't like what he was playing...that's fine and all but don't go on freaking telling him what to do unless he specifically asks you to.
