Question Music Man Care Set MM

Dear Forum members,

I have a Sting Ray5 Bass + Fiezo pickup with Maple Neck.

Since I have this bass, 11 years, I have never done so called "Neck care".
Only cleaned up without chemical methods.

I bought "Music Man Care Set MM".

And.. I did it last Saturday and I want to know, if it is right one for my bass.

Well, that appears to be gunstock oil and wax plus a cleaning cloth, which will certainly work if you feel up to applying it to the back of your neck. Follow easily located instructions and you're good.

I mean, "I" have done it and I'm not exactly what you'd call handy, so it can't be that hard (or dangerous).

I checked and played yesterday evening again, my Bass is still stinky but it looks well.
I just worried, that I harmed my Bass.
