Axis - trans purple that leans more to wine-red than blue.

LUKE - Same red as on the Luke I.

Petrucci Buttercream's of course. The Luke looks good too.

Petrucci Autumn Sunrise (like Paul Warren's).

I really really really raelly really really have to echo the request for trans purple back on the axis and I agree with all the others who have mentioned it should be more of a wine red purple kind of colour.

I say make it like the old PRS colour "raspberry" or better yet just do Black Cherry Burst but without the burst!

I agree with radrock. But I would add black binding to the White Sparkle Axis SS. That would look killer.

No joke Bro. I would pay ALOT for one of those. It would just be killer, especially with gold hardware. Oh man. . . .

At least make two of them. One for lumberjack and one for me. Once you post the pictures on the site, everybody will want them.

My fave color.

I don't know why, but my fave color has to be Burgundy Mist Metallic. I think it's only offered on the really expensive custom shop F****r's. I've always had some sort of addiction to this color. I think a Silhouette special with a vintage mint pickguard in BMM would be the most amazing thing on the face of the earth.

That's her. Makes me drool.

OK - I'll add to this ancient thread too - can't resist.

Envy Green is the best, but it's been done in an LE, some of us have them.

I also like Autumn Redrise like Paul Warren's JP

But for future LE models, I would like to see more translucent stains, like the 2 great Y2D color scheme's.

And especially - translucent Mystic Dream on a Flame top :D

I am a big fan of the green silo you cant get any more (not the LE). Would love a pink sparkle anything and thought the autumn redburst(rise) was realy nice.

I gotta vote for gunmetal blue, midnight wine & shoreline gold from the F*#!er camp. All on Silos, of course. With abalone, white pearloid & python pickguards, respectively. Dream, dream, dream...

Oh yeah, and a Goldtop Axis SS with a solid rosewood neck would be sweet...

BTW, maybe BFR is "Brazilian Farmed Rosewood". Wouldn't that be nice...

First of all, thanks for listening...
Axis: Pearl Redburst
Axis: Wine red finish of a Les Paul Standard

I'd love a Pearl RedBurst Axis! I just ordered an Axis and was a but dissappointed it wasn't available on that finish. I took the Black Cherry Burst which I'm sure will be great, but I really did feel like I had to 'settle' instead of getting what I really wanted.

On a similar note, could you update / improve the pictures of the guitars??
http://www.ernieball.com/mmonline/color_chart/color_chart.html

I had to look around on internet for pictures because I felt the picture on the page above was not descriptive / sharp enough.

Check out the Gibson site for example:
http://www.gibson.com/Products/GibsonElectric/Gibson Electric Guitars/LesPaul/Standards/Standard/

There you can really see instantaneusly what the guitar would look like in different finishes, and I think it matches pretty well what guitars look like in real life.

Please take it as a proposal for improvement. Please edit out if it does not fit forum guidelines.

My order was placed recently, and the finish took a while to decide because I did not get the impression the pictures on the site were very representative.

Edit:
Here's what I mean about improving the color chart:

Picture at MM color chart:
http://www.ernieball.com/mmonline/color_chart/images_lg/colorchart_27.jpg

http://www.wildwestguitars.com/ernieball/axis/axis_g32651.jpg

I'd love to have a picture like the WW one in Black Cherry Burst. By seeing it on the MM site, I don't think much about the Pacific Blue Finish, but by seeing the WW pic I'm like "woah! Gimme one of those!"

Burgundy Purple Mist is an excellent color, but it would have to have an EBMM flair to it.

Please do not bring back Burnt Apple
Those of us with burnt apple would like to continue with the "rare" status that we enjoy. Those of us with the even "rarer sparkely" burnt apple are even happier.
If you smell something I think it's sarcasm.
