I work at Guitar Center in Danvers, MA and there currently is about 5 or 6 MM basses, but only one guitar! I'm working on them as well to get more MM in the store. What did you do to get your manager going with em?

Mike,
This is perfect timing... My brother lives over in Red Lion and I was just talking to him this morning. My nephew is looking for another guitar and he frequents your store but he's currently interested in another brand. I've been working on him but he's never had anything to try other than if they come to visit me. I'll let them know you're going to start stocking Musicman.

stick around and get to know everybody...whats the dargie silo going for?

The dargie is tagged at $1450 i think? I played it, Really nice piece, only two very small dings on it that i saw.

I have been a forum member for about a year, due to time I don,t post a whole lot but I plan on being more active.

It was a tough battle but it really came down to the fact that I could prove I could move high end pieces, My advice is to really promote them (I have brought my own personal Music Mans in for customers to play many times). My biggest argument was that we had the basses so why not the guitars and that there is nothing else like them, I play them and I promote them, I have sold Used pieces very quickly and I sold every sterling by musicman we had in the store. Good luck. My goal is to create a buzz about music mans in my area.

Whether a Music Man or not I am more then happy to take the time to help your nephew find the right piece. I have owned and played many brands of gear. Feel free to PM' me or call the store for my hours.

Good news! I look for them in your store every time I'm there. I just bought a used Reflex from the Albany store (but I bought it through a quote from the Lancaster store).
Actually, I probably emailed with you about the Axis I was selling to fund the Reflex purchase. Didn't know you worked at GC. ...very cool.

yeah I emailed you about it, I had a friend that was interested in it, he loves green guitars. Unfortunately he wasn't able to come up with the $$ at the moment and my schedule was pretty nuts that week. Glad you were able to sell it and get a new piece.

Hey Reilly ... great job getting MM guitars at your store and good luck. I live about 2.5 hrs away. My band is endorsed and we currently 4 EBMM's. I'm always up for a road trip if you want to try any of them out. Let me know.
