You could always do a 5+1 Headstock, with the side having 1 with a Bass tuner or something, haha. I really agree with BP, Make a Guitar, Cool. Make Your own design, Really Cool.

I used to be into tinkering with guitars as well.....

then about 5 years ago I bought my first musicman....

as most of you have probally expierienced, I fell in love and haven't had another thought since......I'm actually addicted to buying them now.

I think that with all of the guitars I had purchased before there was always something missing (RG's, LP's, Jacksons, etc...)....so I was always trying to frankenstiein something....but the moment I laid my hands on my first JP that was all over. To this day I literally hate to put down my guitars when I'm in that playing groove...they feel like an extension of me and my fingers. Every piece and part is perfect and my long years of de-constructing my guitars is long over...

Anyways.......good luck on your guitar, I am excited to see how it turns out....but definatly try getting your hands on some musicmans if you haven't already...

Cheers

Well said William. I can't even imagine the amount of work it would be to make one from scratch. I think once I have better work area set up, I will give it a go at building a cabinet. A smaller investment and has potential to be really personalized.
