Hi, I have an Ernie Ball Musicman Sterling 4 string. The neck plate is a 5 bolt and has the serial number F09508. I received this bass as a gift from a family friend. It is a gold color with a pearl pick guard. I have no idea what I have here other than it's a Musicman and it is a sterling. So I am curious to know about it - any help would be great!!! Thanks!

I'm looking at a bass that the seller claims it's an 1985 StingRay, but it has a 3 band EQ. My research shows they didn't have the 3 band til '87. So either the EQhas been changed or it's an '87. Ser # B023716

Welcome to the forum, I believe the seller contacted us regarding this bass and I had requested some images to have a look.
We did use the 3 band before 87.
