Hi Everybody !

What about the SR5 E56469 ? Is this Alnico or Ceramic pickups ? And the exact color please ?
Thanks !
You should be able to tell by the color of the pickup pole pieces. Ceramic pickups use bar magnets with separate pole pieces, which are very shiny like steel. Alnico is more of a grayish color.

Hi! I bought a used silhouette, serial number 88085, about 10 years ago. It would be great to know when it was originally built and also what's the name of the color (it's kind of rose).
Thank you and cheers from Bremen, Germany,
Markus

I have a music man with a serial number on the bridge. it starts with a 4. I notice a lot of serial numbers on this thread start with a letter instead of a number. any insight as to why mine does not start with a letter?

Hi there,

I just bought a used Sterling bass today (blue pearl body with black pearloid pickguard). Sounds, feels, and looks awesome!

Curious about the D.O.B.

Serial number is F13233.

Cheers!
