I would like to know the details for a Stingray 4 H (2-EQ) with black body and white marble pickguard with serial E18998

Allegedly it's from 2002 but it has a down-sized bridge with string-through-body arrangement which makes me a bit wary. Any details about it's origin/model/materials/pickup type ... would be welcome since some people mention that some basses with this bridge type were actually produced/assembled in Japan.

From the information I have gathered my guess (hope, really) is that the down-sized bridge was a special order from Musik Meyer (Germany), but the year and serial don't match 100% with the info out there.

Cheers, for the help AJ. Looks like my coral red classic is all original condition, just a bit of mojo from use has brought out the undercoat, great news considering I purchased it for a steal from someone who thought that meant it was a refinish
