Shamu,

What a gorgeous bass! It looks like it's never been played. It was completed on 02/14/96.

Dan

Thanks! Yeah, I get the feeling this was more of a back-up bass for the previous owner. Don't know if he's the original owner.

I was really blown away by the neck...looks like Flame Maple.

This is one of the best slappin' basses out there, and I've owned a sh*tload of 'em! Very lightweight and comfortable.

ARES, your StingRay 5 20th Anniversary bass was completed on 8/03/07 and was shipped to Bass Central.

Nice!

Dan
Awesome, cheers.

She's my number one now, freakin' amazing instrument. Been selling off other sheep from the flock lately even. :D

Well, the body / neck / electronics stamps were never meant to pertain to the final production date - they can be off by a few weeks or more, and this bass is well within that. Also, string mutes were in use until 1994 on the StingRay.

The concern here is the bridge. You are absolutely certain of the serial number, correct?

Dan

Dan have checked it again and the serial number is definately 32528.

Blueburst, 3-band, fretless.....I think we have a bridge swap....
