E35095 - This 30th Anniversary StingRay was completed on April 20th, 2006. The color is Crimson with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center. Unfortunately we don't have the production number information in the serial number database.

It may be a pre Ernie Ball StingRay. Unfortunately the serial number database didn't come around until the late 1980s after Ernie Ball took over the company so we don't have production numbers on those early ones. There is usually a date stamp in the neck pocket or pickup cavity that will give you an idea of the production date. There is also a great reference website where you can compare to similar serial numbers, http://musicmanbass.org/mycustompage0052.htm.

Happy New Year, I bought a sterling bass this morning that is the best playing bass I have ever played. I bought the bass nearly 20 years ago in Munich / Germany. I've kept it for my son but he decided to become a drummer. So I'd like to sell it. What would be a fair price? Pictures attached. Front body top condition after many years of playing (IMO), back body some lack issues (see jpgs) . Last six years on the wall in the house.

Yea I tried it again to double check, that would of been right before the serial number database was introduced. There may be a date stamp in the neck pocket or one of the pickup cavities to give you an idea of the production date. Sorry we don't have more information for you.

Unfortunately we don't offer appraisals through the factory as we don't have experience dealing in the used market. We'd recommend checking Ebay & Reverb.com for similar models to get an idea of what they're going for.
