Also, since this bass has a neck from another bass (I wanted a fretless and found someone who had "fretless remorse" and swapped with me - my perfect blonde fretted neck and $$$ for his like new fretless neck) was wondering about how to date the neck.

Occasionally you can find a date written on the heel. If you have the serial number of the instrument that neck originally came on we could look up the production date.

Looking for more info on E94419, which I just acquired from GC.

It looks to me to be a 2014 Neptune Blue Stingray PDN 4 HH, but as I've never seen that color in person I'm not 100% sure. Neck has a lovely roast to it, and the finish is blue-burst-ish but with a lot of green (which is common in blue "sea" finishes.)

Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help here!

Please data for 2 BIG ALs:

- F42052
It has the "Custom Music Man lightweight tuners" also used on the Bongo. Any info available about this feature? Weere all BIG ALs built with these tuners from a certain date or was it just a special series?

- F27926

Thanks a lot!

So, I just grabbed this insanely nice StingRay 5 from a buddy of mine. Pretty sure it's True Gold, but the more I can know would be awesome. Plastic was still on the pick guard!
