Just got my first Music Man Bass. Stingray 5. Stamp on bridge say 59748. Is that the serial number. It is a brown or tobacco burst with a Birdseye neck. I was told it was a 1999. Any information on this bass?

This StingRay 5 was completed on October 29th, 1997. The color is Vintage sunburst with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

This Axis Sport HSS was completed on September 15th, 1997. The color is Opaque Ivory with the Rosewood fretboard. The pickups are DiMarzio custom wounds. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

E55967 - This StingRay HH was completed on May 13th, 2008. The color is Redwood with the Honduran Mahogany neck. 1000 year old Redwood stumps were used for the tops on these, the body wood is Ash. It was originally shipped to CMC Music. This is a limited edition run, but it was not a limited number run. They were available for order through all of our distributors around the world.
