I would be thankful, if you could tell me the year.

This Sterling was completed on January 25th, 2007. The color is Carbon Blue Pearl with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Steve's Music.

This left handed StingRay 3EQ was completed on May 8th, 2006. The color is Natural Gloss with the lined fretless Pau Ferro fingerboard. It was originally shipped to Bass Central.

Unfortunately we don't have the production records for the pre and early Ernie Ball instruments, the serial number database didn't come around until the late 1980s. There may be a date in the neck pocket or neck heel that could give you an idea of the production time.

This StingRay HH was completed on April 28th, 2011. The color is Black Cherry Burst with the Slo Special Maple neck & matching headstock. It was originally shipped to Musician's Friend.

This JP6 without piezo was completed on March 26th, 2002. The color is Blue Pearl with the Rosewood fretboard (standard dot inlays). It was originally shipped to Musician's Friend. The photos at the link are authentic to what the serial number brings up.

I know it’s been said but thank you so much for providing this info for us. I am taking delivery tomorrow on a 2EQ Stingray E87077. I also have a Stingray 5 Classic B056003. Grateful for any data you can provide on these.

This StingRay 5 was completed on January 11th, 1996. The color is Natural Velvet with the Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

E87077 - This StingRay 2EQ was completed on October 25th, 2012. The color is Candy Red with the Rosewood fretboard. It was originally shipped to D Town Guitars.

B056003 - This StingRay 5 Classic was completed on April 6th, 2011. The color is Classic Natural with the Flame Maple neck. It was originally shipped to Guitar Center.

This StingRay 2EQ was completed on October 28th, 1992. The color is Natural with the Rosewood fretboard. The body wood is most likely Ash. We used a mix of Poplar, Alder & Ash prior to 2000 and Natural was most commonly Ash. It was originally shipped to Strings & Things.
