Thanks for the info Joël !!

I dont know if this is the right place to ask but the neck of ”Blondy” seems a little more “sticky” and less smooth than the other two. How should I fix that ?

This StingRay 3EQ was completed on February 22nd, 1996. The color is Black with the Rosewood fretboard.

Thanks for the info! Does your record say what kind of wood was used on the bass 48564?
Also, was it "born" as a fretless? Just asking as I have seen blank fingerboards, lined boards, but this one has the lines and dot markers. Just thought it was unusual, almost thought it was converted to fretless.

No prior to the 90s a mix of Ash, Alder and Poplar was used for the body wood and the serial number database doesn't specify. Black was most commonly Poplar. This one shipped from factory as a fretted Rosewood fingerboard.

Looking to date My Stingray 5. Kind of a pinkish/purple metallic color. Would like to know what it's called. Serial # E07584. Thank You, Marc

UPDATE... I removed the neck. There is a date of Feb 01 1999 in the pocket, along with BLACK, in large capital letters. But... the bass is Pearl Lavender. HELP?
